Welcome to Troop 265's Website!

Troop 265 is in its 39th year of operation and is chartered by Lamb of God Lutheran Church, Flower Mound Texas. At this time, the troop has 44 registered scouts and has produced over 85 Eagle scouts.

We meet every Monday (except Mondays following the monthly campout), at Lamb of God Lutheran Church, 1401 Crosstimbers Road, Flower Mound, TX 75028. Family Life, Scholarship & Communications Merit Badges

If you would like to do the Eagle-required Family Life Merit Badge, please contact Mr. Goulet at aarunman@aol.com or 469-293-5456 to advise him you would like to begin the badge, which takes a minimum of 3 months to complete. This will not require a class.

2010 HISTORICAL MERIT BADGE COLLEGE

Troop 191 is hosting a Merit Badge College to work on the four vintage merit bades that are being released exclusively for this Centennial Year.  Cost is $15 for the day plus kit cost if applicable.  This will include 2 classes and a pamphlet on the requirements needed for each badge.  The College will be heldfrom 9:00 am to 4:00 pm on Saturday, October 2, 2010 at Church of Christ/504 Carlisle Dr., Lake Dallas

 Ms. Ramirez, Mr. Covington (our Chartered Org Rep), Ms. de Benedictis and I met this past Monday to understand the issues between the Church and the Troop.  The church has asked us to follow a few simple requests.

Reading Merit Badge

For those interested in earning the Reading merit badge, Mr. Davidson will be starting a session.  Merit badge requirements are available online at http://meritbadge.org/wiki/index.php/Reading  Please see Mr. Reiner for permission and a blue card if you’re interested in working on the Reading merit badge.  A date will be set to meet at the library in July, following the Clements Summer Camp.
